SENTINEL
After a long silence the storyteller spoke once more, but his voice sounded very different now.
"Remember that a story is not a rigidly defined sequence of occurences, but a multidimensional space of ideas you are invited to explore. Wander around in it, taste the texture of that reality and digest it - transform it into something you can call your own. But beware - you can get lost in that place! Of course, for some people that is exactly the reason they seek out storytellers; others desire only entertainment. Whatever your objective, know that if you feel you need it, this is here for you: a map."
"Go now," he said. "See what I have seen, but look for it in your own way. Your experiences are your own, and I am merely offering you an opportunity to briefly partake in some of mine. Perhaps you will enjoy it, and perhaps you will not - I have no desire to enforce my vision upon you. I hope to see you again one day, but for now I wish you well on your travels."
